Burping

by boy99, Oct 10, 2008 08:11AM
hello everyone !

i used to have mad hunger pains so i went to the doctor and was diagnosied with H-Pylori and took a 10 day treatment to eliminate it and im no longer always as hungry as i used to be. My problem is i keep burping 24/7 whenever im standing up/sitting down, the only solution is for me to lie down on my bed and it goes away. I've seen 2 doctors about this and they tell me its nothing and brushed me off so im asking if anyone would know what its related to? This all begain the same time i started having my hunger pains from H-Pylori, could it be an ulcer? my doctors say no so would anyone know? could it be im still infected with h-plyori? my doctor won't give me more medicine for it.

I also have the fun stomach infection H-pylori. You're more of a man than I was when I tried the antibiotic cocktail. I didn't last one day and I hate to say this but it sounds like you still have it. I used to have the same hunger pains and the only way I could get rid of them was eating small amounts, which you probably know lead to an upset stomach. I also have the burping problem as well. I actually talked to my doctor a few weeks ago about controlling the systems of H-pylori and he prescribed Nexeum 20Mg one pill a day. It seems to have helped with the hunger pains but not with burping. I also asked about the treatment that you went through. He said in some cases the patient will have to go through 2 courses of the antibiotics. Hopefully this is some help.

I forgot to say ...

Drinking any type of alcohol will make your symptoms flare up even medicines. Also, drinking water helps keep the hunger pains at bay. Last thing the doctor also told me that I should not eat big meals, only eat enough to get rid of the hunger.
