I found something that makes this go away! I found it on a post on another site but wante to put it here because this is where I came first but found no answers!! 1 tsp of baking soda and 16 oz of water mix it up and drink it all down. After about 5 min you will release gas
like sulfer , for now, then there may be some nausia.. but got to bed and try to get some sleep. When you wake up you should be fine! Then I did a 5 Day Bowel Detox from Dr. Schulze (google it) and what a difference!! Hope this works for you!
increases each time it happens until you can no longer take it and you vomit everything up.
I tried not eating and just drinknig water and this did not work. I saw the doctor on Tuesday who asked what I'd eaten in the last 3 days. Over the weekend I had 2 beef burgers, one medium done in a restaurant one cooked on a BBQ. I had diahorrea on the Sunday, but I had drunk a lot on Sat night so I was unsure whether that was related or not. Either way, since then I had not been to the toilet. I had also been getting waves of pain (collic, the doctor said) across my lower abdomen on and off. Combining all these symptoms, the doctor diagnosed food poisoning
I had actually in a desperate bid to get rid of the symptoms the morning before I saw the doctor gone to a pharmacy, described my symptoms and been advised to take "motilium" which is a brand of domperidone. The doctor said this is exactly what I should take as it stimulates the digestive system to kick in and prevent the stomach from going in to stasis
(gsatroparesis) again. He advised that my bowel had been poisioned by the beef and that it had triggered gastroparesis to prevent digestion until it had cleared. I was advised to introduce food gradually again, carbs first ie bread, rice, potato etc, then protein ie meat and fish, then fats ie dairy/chocolate as that is the order that the disgestive system restores itself. I took a motilium tablet 3 times a day whilst sticking to a very bland diet of rice, noodles etc for 4 days and then began eating a normal, although fairly bland/non spicy diet again.
The motilium works almost instatntly, you will notice the symptoms ie burps decreasing in intensity for about 2 hours or so until they stop. This medicine is not preventative however, if you have this condition as a reuslt of stress/anxiety/intolerance to a food, then of course it will remain/come back until such time as those stimuli are removed/lessened. Also, as it forces the stomachs bottom muscles to open and the top to stay closed, you do get a very discomforting feeling of tension in your chest, combined with a loss of appetite, which only gets worse the longer you take it. Furthermore, these tablets tend to cause very sudden diahorrea roughly once or twice a day at around the same time (if your routine stays the same) after the 2nd or 3rd day, as the tablets cumulate in your system. Your urine will also go orange!!!
I decreased the tablets to once a day before bed after 5 days just to be 100% certain as the symptoms are so horrible I did not want it toc ome back! After 7 days I was eating normally again.
