So one week ago I had a colonoscopy (trying to diagnose chronic diarrhea, came out clean). The first 2 days after, I had normal stools, and then, back to diarrhea, but worst than normal. This weekend I had a fever and have been feeling just down, even though I'm actually getting better, this morning I woke up with diarrhea, and blood in the toilet paper. Unfortunately I couldn't really see that was in the toilet (lamp in that bathroom is fused, still dark out), but the toilet paper had a somewhat reasonable amount of blood. I don't know if I should get worried, I'm actually waiting to go again to see if this happens again. My colonoscopy was Monday last week, and the doctor said they found a polyp, not sure if they removed it or not, I do know they took samples for biopsy (i don't have the results).
I don't have a doctor really that I can call, I guess I could call the hospital, but I'm really afraid to, my colonoscopy was without anesthesia, or any kind of sedative, so it hurt a lot, and I'm afraid they would say I have to do another one to check if everything is fine.
Also I know I said I didn't know if the doctor removed the polyp, I tried to watch the colonoscopy, but I admit I may have missed something because of the pain, I didn't see him removing it, and he didn't say he did, so I think he didn't but I might be wrong.
If anyone could help me I would be grateful.
