Chronic Navel-area pain!

Hi,

So I have been on a constant round-about with different doctors for about 6 months.

I have this pain near/in my belly button. It hurts when something touches it (such as clothing, my pants, counter if i lean, etc.) As of this second, I have a heating pad resting on it, and it hurts because it is being "touched"

The pain feel sort of like what i would describe as a deep, sensitive bruiseBruise healing - series

Bruise. When touched it feels like a little pull at the bruiseBruise healing - series

Bruise. It is VERY localized pain though, if my stomach is touched even a centimenter off of the pain "centre" as I would call it, it does not hurt at all.

When this first started around 6 months ago, i noticed the area that hurt was kinda of hard. I went to the doctor, they told me I was constipated and I would be fine. The pain and "hardness" went away, and I thought I was fine. However, a couple of weeks later the pain came back.

The pain kept coming and going. On a week, off 3 weeks, on again a week. I went for more than one ultra-sound, blood tests, xrays and urineCalcium - urine
Calcium urine test
Chloride - urine
Cortisol - urine
Electrolytes - urine
Glucose test - urine
Hcg in urine
Ketones - urine
Kidney - blood and urine flow
Lh urine test (home test)
Ph urine testanalyses. Everything came back fine according to my doctor. The one thing I found weird was that after my initial visit, she never again even looked at my stomach. I found this concerning so I took all my tests results to another doctor, who was stumped by it.

He gave me naproxen for the pain it causes and hoped that would make it better. It didn't. The Naproxen does not improve the pain at all.

It is now hurting again and I have now noticed that the inside of my belly button has swelled a bit, and the area is again, hard. I saw a doctor at the hospital today and he kind of just shrugged it off.

I have done lots of rsearch, thinking it could be a hernia, but it doesnt really protrude, and I assume a hernia would show up in my ultra-sounds? Also, it does not "leak" any fluid, and does not smellSmell - impaired
Stools - foul smellingbad. It's a totally internal pain.

I'm not sure where to turn anymore...

Please help :)

Do you have to be referred to go to a gastroenterologist? My doctor doesn't seem to want to help me, so I'm worried she wont refer me if that's what I need. I will book an appointment (again, lol) and ask for a referral.

thx :)

I know it may sound a little strange but have you thought about seeing a gastroenterologist it might be something that was never thought of that a gastroenterologist might know right off the bat.

Hope you feel better soon
