Chronic, mostly, stomach upset

I've been dealing with stomach problems for years, however recently, they've gotten a lot worse. For weeks at a time, I will worry about going anywhere or eating anything because I don't know how my stomach is going to react. I have quite frequent bowel movements (sometimes 3-4 a day). After I eat it can get a lot worse, plenty of burping, gas, and whatnot. It makes me not even want to bother eating. I'm just at a loss of what to do next. I eat plenty of fiber and I have a healthy diet, aside from a need for a cup of coffee each day. I'm 21 and wondering if anyone else out there has been dealing with the same thing.

I figure its a fairly cheap and safe thing to try to see if it will give relief.  Just space them out throughout the day and try to get one that does not have too much magnesium.  You also might want to go easy on dairy and cream products.

I'd searched IBS before and discounted it, however, when you mentioned it I took another look and that sounds like it could be a winner. I'm going to give that calcium carbonate a try, I'm fairly certain it can't make things any worse, haha.

You could have IBS which is not a fun thing to deal with.  Some people find calcium carbonate helps them with the diarrheah that is a part of this problem.
