Do I have gallbladder problems?

I am a 43 year old female.  I have had nausea, heartburn, bloating immediately after eating.  Dr. said it was IBS but symptoms wouldn't go away.  She gave me an ultrasound and it showed 1.3 cm polyp on gallbladder.  She said I was fine and will do nothing.  Now I am getting pain under right rib cage.  I've heard I should have polyp/gallbladder removed for that size.  Should I get a second opinion?

yeah second opinion but i'm the same way, a polyp is something that should be removed and tested for cancer..much like a colonoscopy

Second opinions are always good. Personally I'm of the school of thought that says polyps should be removed whenever possible.
