Dysautonomia can have flare ups, occurs in females in a ratio of 4 to 1 and happens at any age.
Thanks for the suggestion. Honestly this feels like a "Flare up" of something. It happens every few months for about 8 weeks then I feel normal for a while. It's so horrible. I feel like I'm losing my life. Then all of a sudden for no reason at all I'm back to a sort of normal.
Also, whenever these "flares" happen I get hard bumps around my ears. They aren't like swollen lymph nodes they are more like cysts.
I'm in my 20s and feel like I'm 80 please someone give me advice.
It sounds like you might have some autonomic dysfunction issues. Chronic fatigue syndrome falls under that. The autonomic nervous system runs everything in your body that is involuntary. (Digestion, heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, sleep cycle, etc)
My son has dysautonomia and his main symptoms are GI related, but they can be many things. My son is also quite fatigued. He complains of abdominal pain on the right side, but all tests have come back fine. They have determined his autonomic nervous system is not working properly. He doesn't sweat on his stomach or left arm because those nerves have been damaged somehow.
Dizziness is also another symptom that is frequent. His heart rate will jump up when he goes from lying or sitting to standing.
Look into it, the symptoms vary from person to person, and there are a lot of possible symptoms.
BTW I just got all the AST and CBC tests - all in normal range. Still waiting on the uralysis.
No, it's not a diet issue. I feel like I'm dying everyday. I can hardly walk down the street without getting exhausted.
I cannot address some disease you might have, your doc can do that, but I do know a little bit about dieting. The reason you are feeling like you do, all tired and cranky and sick, is because you're starving. The way to diet is, you eat more protein, less carbs (small bowl of cereal is ok, a little spagetti), all the vegies/salad you want, one small glass of juice daily, and exercise like a maniac plus drink lots of water before you eat. You will find your spirits lifted by the activity, the food will fill you up and give your body something to "burn" on (you gotta have a fire to burn off calories), and you won't be tired and upset anymore. The weight will come off like nobody's business.
Could be the results from the blood labs will show you are slightly anemic, which can be remedied by a number of things, your doc will explain it. And let me tell you, while 20 pounds seems like a nightmare, and not to take away from your well-founded concerns about weight, I was on some medicines and shot up to 190. Talk about misery! I got it down to 150 (I'm supposed to be 120) and was happy as a lark. Actually, for you, just leaving out the diet stuff and getting really physically fit will make your 20 pounds look much better on you...but I do think eating more protein etc. will help you lose weight.
