Energy surge after taking antibiotics

Hi I wasn't sure where to post this so I took a guess.  Recently my wife and I became sick with bronchitis and she went to the doctor and got medication.  She took it and is now over it.  I took the remainder of her medicine and now on my second day of taking it, I am experiencing a level of energy that I am not used to.  Honestly I feel great.  Now I am a little worried that I may have been carrying around some sort of long term infection that is now being attacked by the cipro.  Is this possible?  And if it is...what would be the shortest route to diagnosing it without going to every specialist under the sun.  On a side note I had tests for a spasming gallbladder 4 years ago, but no stones were found, the function was greatly reduced though.  No real reason was found and I never went back.

One thing when I was on CIPRO, if you are drinking any caffeine CIPRO will cause it to build up in your bloodstream, this happened to me ONCE.  When I took Bactrim it just jacked me all up.  I think I was having some sort of allergic reation to it. Alot of people have allergies to sulpha drugs.
