Mono can be a big deal when you have liver involvement particularly if your spleen is enlarged.  If i were you, I'd get looked at.  Better safe than sorry!

All the best,

Don't worry about it.  Hopefully you will get over mono in a couple of weeks.  If your symptoms persist for longer that a month, then I would follow-up with a doctor to make sure you do not have a more chronic situation. It should run its course with no repercussions on your liver.
But, if you have been taking Zocor for your triglycerides, you should have your liver enzymes checked esp. if your right side continues to hurt.  If they are elevated from taking the Zocor, your doctor needs to discontinue this medication.  I took Zocor for about a year, and it damaged my liver.  Read about the side effects from all stain drugs.  Good luck.
