Fecal Transplant

Does anyone knows any GI in Pittsburgh that performs fecal transplants? Thanks.

Can't swear to it, but try Jackson Seigelbaum Gastroenterology in Harrisburg, PA. I believe they do fecal transplants for U.C.

I'd be interested in hearing of what you learn.  I asked my GI in Pittsburgh about it and he wasn't aware of anyone performing the procedure locally yet.  He was aware of the promising research for it's effectiveness for treating C Diff.  I've been battling C diff for 1.5 years and am ready to try anything.

Mpt2222, why don't you try calling them yourself. It can't hurt. I also had heard the procedure was being done at the Allegheny General Hospital. You might want to consider calling there and inquiring.
