MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
There are many causes of upper abdominal pain. The common causes are gastritis, trapped wind, reflux esophagitis, gall bladder disease, indigestion; food poisoning etc.I will suggest you to take light food and adequate rest. You may try taking an over the counter antacid for symptomatic relief. If the symptoms are severe and persistent it is suggested to see a doctor and get examined. This is merely an advice and not a substitute for clinical examination. I sincerely hope it helps.
Best luck and regards!
