Gall bladder pain? Gastritis?

Maybe sometime in Feb I woke up with a painful stomach, like really bad hunger pains. It went away but came back a week later. Then I started to feel a little more burpy and had some stomach discomfort and hunger pains. Also a little nauseous. Went to doctor and she thought I had gastritis. She did blood work to test for bacteria. It was negative. She told me to take prevacid once a day no matter how I felt and to avoid OJ and tomatoes. So I did and it helped. I switched from prevacid to DGL and that helped as well. Then I started to feel a dull pain under my ribcage on the right side. It would come and go. Never sever, just annoying. Still have it on and off. Also have pain in my right flank area. I had an ultrasound done of my liver and it was fine. Could it be the gallblader or could it still be gastritis? I really dont see and food making a difference but I really havent been keeping track.

Does the gall bladder cause right flank pain as well?

Confused!!

Update: last night I awoke to go to the bathroom and realized my stomach was really hurting. I had some of the bad hunger pains and then just a lot of pain on my right side and around to my back. Lots of grumbling too. First I thought maybe it was gas but eventually fell asleep. Today I still have the pain under my right rib, slightly upset stomach and back pain? Doctor is not in until Tuesday. Don't know what to do! This pain stinks!
