You really are going through alot. I do hope when you go back for the breath test you're clear of H Pylori.
Aloe Vera juice is great but don't drink too much because it may cause loose and much softer stools, something you're already dealing with.
Is you back pain getting any better? That can happen with gastritis and esophagitis . I've had both many times and get back pain with it.
I'm so sorry, I do see that you're on two antibiotics. The Flagyl didn't register.
Did your Dr recommend staying on omeprazole for awhile after you've finished the antibiotics?
Hi I had the soft stools before too. I am on2 antibiotics...flagyl and claritjromycin. I've had an abdominal ct a very good one from what I'm told a 64 slice mdct with contrast (oral and IV) pancreatic protocol also ultrasound. All good. I've seen stuff about manuka honey and aloe Vera juice as well for h pylori. I'll be done with antibiotics Friday night. And yes I'm having a breath test a few weeks after antibiotics are done
Were you having soft stools before you began treatment, or after? I'm asking because antibiotics can sometimes cause soft stools and even diarrhea.
Had your Dr recommended having a CT scan done? It show show alot as far as your digestive tract.
It can take awhile to get rid of H Pylori. I've read that taking vitamin C, cranberry supplements and Zinc can really help along with the antibiotics.
I'm a little surprised your Dr doesn't have you on two antibiotics. That's usually the regular treatment.
Did you Dr say if you will need to be tested again a few weeks after your treatment is over?
hi yes i started flagyl nd clarithromycin and omeprazole 9 days ago. so far no changes in fact back pain is different almost feels ike nerve pain all over somewhat affecting feelingsin my legs and arms feel like nerve pain type sensation in chest and sometimes even nipples. im so terrified
Yes, any of these might cause back pain. Are you on antibiotics for the H pylori? What about meds for the other two?
Gastritis might cause softer stools.
