He Stinks!

My boyfriend has the WORST smelling, "almost toxic" farts and poops. We virtually eat the same foods and I almost never smell. I thought maybe he needs a colon cleanse? What should he do so that every time he passes gas, or has a bowel movement we don't have to run to the other room!!?

Probiotics I guess you could try with him *shrugs*... and colon clense like you said.  But probiotics...just go to a health food store and ask for some and start using it in both your diets (it won't hurt you)...

other than that I dunno hopefully I don't have that problem in the future yikes :S

If it's really that bad, I'd suggest you get him to a doctor and have some stool tests done. One of those tests should be for C. diff a nasty little bacteria that can cause a myriad of problems in the large intestine.

thanks! he doesn't have health insurance right now, so we'll have to wait to get tests done. any suggestions on how or what to to use for a colon cleanse?

I know when my husband eats lots of red meat or things that contain a lot of protein he has the same problem. So maybe slow down on the meats and have him go green for a week to naturally cleanse his colon.
