Mucus

Without sounding distasteful could someone please explain what mucus looks like. I seem to be passing what i can only explain as a fatty type liquid. It floats to the surface like fat does, and it sometimes looks white in colour. Im unsure if this is directly linked to my UC or my short bowel syndrome. Thanks so much

Mucus can be many colors. It is usually "slippery and slimy"...snot from your nose is a mucus.
Many people with bowel issues pass mucus.

Hope this helps.
