Help with H.Pylori

Hey just wondering what it is and what causes it and how will it go away and is it linked to stomach cancer?? My best friend just had an endoscopy and was told that it was helicobactor which i believe is some sort of inflamation of the stomach lining. Please can someone just please explain????? I need to understand i care very much for my friend.

i found a site that explains everything there is to know about H. pylori. i have the link, so check it out. it's very helpful. and depending on age, stomach cancer is not really a concern until you're over 50, but it's still important to know that the virus can lead to other cancers, people can have it and never know, some people get symptoms and are given pills to kill the bacteria. check out the site though.
