IBS??

I have terrible trouble digesting pretty much everything! I dread going to sleep because i commonly wake up nauseated at around 2am and it takes a while to pass! Dizziness and low blood pressure usually accompany this..I rarely have BM's but when i do its never much and no matter how much fruit and veg and whole grains i eat it doesn't help....Getting very impatient!! Have been to my GP who says I am anaemic but I cannot see a link!! Any ideas??

I'm having simular issues with eating ect. I eat fruit and veg and some meat(some times). I dont eat to many processed foods as they have artifical prevervative and additive that I'm alergic/itolerant to. I cant have to much sugar or milk either for the same reasons.

My diet seem to have become extreamly limited if I dont eat certain foods I get constipated very easy.

I'm haivng trouble loosing weight despite eating healthy. I'm not perfect but I eat healthier than the people around me. The strangest thing I have noticed is that when I do give in and have some take away NO seriouly fatty food like chips but just the burger's or wrap's I do finds it easier to loose weight, I feel like I have less belly pain as well. So I'm confused.

My biggest problem is that latly my body seems to be demanding energy. I get very dizzy, shacky, etc and I have to eat something fairly healthy like a banana or a burger etc and a poweraide. I had all the blood tests and my Dr say's I'm not diabetic and my thyroide etc are all fine. When I was in hospital the nurses said I had ketones in my urine test but when they did fasting blood I'm fine. SO I'm very confused as to what is happening to me.

My BP is also dropping when I stand up but I become tachy when I stand up.

I'm on a waiting list to see a dietition, GI, and an ENT, I'm also seeing a cardioligist for IST and having an echo done in june as well.

Take it easy and let me know how you go.

I can't say why you have trouble digesting, but no matter what the cause, taking probiotics may greatly help you over time. Since you're having trouble with food, you'd probably be better off taking a capsule form from the health/ vitamin shop. Make sure it's a high quality formula (Udo's Choice is a good one. Expensive, but worth every penny.) Once you establish a strong colony of "good" bacteria in your gut, you should have much better digestion. This could take months, but be patient. It's like growing a vegetable garden. You may be anemic because of malabsorption of food, which means your body is starving for nutrients, therefore can't work efficiently. Trust me on this one. It can only help you.

First off, you should elevate your head when you sleep which should help the nighttime nausea.  You can try a laxative to help with the constipation if changing your diet hasn't helped (like miralax).  However, you should be seeing a GI doctor who should run some tests to see what's wrong.
