Iron tablet question

by ice_queen, Oct 06, 2009 04:21PM
Hi i'm new here and i've recently started taking iron tablets (ferrous sulphate) 200mg 3 times a day.

This is an embarassing question.....

Does anyone now feel sick whenever they go to the toilet?
I personally go at least once a day and now i'm replused by myself.
I know a side effect is blackened stools, but this makes me feel physically sick!
I did feel sick too, but ever since i started taking the tablets with food i've felt better.
It still sometimes comes in waves though.

Anyone else feel the same?
