Is this a symptom of Acid Reflux or something else?

What could cause a sudden pain in the chest right after eating? I noticed this morning right after I ate breakfast I got this pain in my chest, center towards the left where my heart is. Could this be Acid Reflux? I just don't recall having a pain before.
I did write a journal recently about the fact that I've had problems with nausea and small burps throughout the day and wasn't sure what that was all about. But now today I have this pain in my chest. Is that normal?

What's the difference between GERD and Acid Reflux? Sorry, I don't know much about any of this. I didn't even think I had Acid Reflux because when I looked it up I didn't think I had a lot of the symptoms, like the sour stomach, sour taste in the mouth, etc. Just the nausea and small burps throughout the day.

Today is the first day I've experienced chest pain like this. I took an antacid about a half hour. Still hasn't kicked in yet. Is there anything else I can do?

What you describe is common with Acid Reflux. However, if what you describe here is correct, you may be developing an issue with GERD (small burps, nausea). You'll want to get this investigated by a professional, to make sure it's not something more serious.

Good luck.
