Liver Calcification .. Urgent !!

I am 28, male .. I don't smoke and drink occasionally, started to had pain in my abdominal area for the last 2 to 3 weeks and my dr. suggested to do a CT scan of pelvic and abdomen. Following were the findings of my CT abdomen scan test, it came out as follows -

"Calcifications in the liver are scattered and small probably due to previoulsy infammatory granulomatous disease "
"Liver, spleen are seen to be normal .. prostate is normal .. "

Can you please reply to this post and if you can provide any suggestion/information & let me know -
1) Why it happened and will this calcifications go away ..
2) Will this calcification cause any harm to my liver .. I mean is it a serious thing?
3) What should I do next ..?

My MD told me that there is nothing to worry about, he said this is normal. I am still a bit curious about this and worried too. Please if you can share your thoughts or answer the above questions for me, it would be of greathelp.

Thank you

Please update on how your calcification is now 8 years later. i have been told i have a small 5mm by 7mm calcification in liver which was discovered on ultrasound and i have the same questions as you. i was told maybe caused by infection many years ago that healed and left a scar there and it shouldnt change or affect me in any way but im still so so worried . Did you find out what caused it and has it changed over time?  please reply or email me.  ***@****
