Lower right side extremely sore to touch?

I've had this pain around 5 days now. 4 days ago, I went to hospital with it. They said I was fine and nothing was wrong, even though I nearly collapsed, couldn't stop being sick and the medication (buscopan, tramadol and ananti-sickness medication) via a drip never touched the pain.

The pain wasn't as bad as it is now, there wasn't a lot of tenderness. However, it's progressed to the point where I've coughed and it's caused sharp pains. Walking hurts, as does bending, etc. I have eaten much, and even when I do try I start to bring it back up.

As for the tenderness, it's worsened, alongside sharp pains. It takes little pressure to cause pain, it's that tender. It's practically midway between my navel and right hip, just a little lower. Pressure hurts, I have nausea, have been sick with the pain, and constantly freezing with the ocassional times that I end up extremely warm.

Bood tests a few days ago proved normal.

Anyone know what this pain is? I'm in agony walking with it :(

I now have an appointment to see a GI doctor next month. I'm also being scheduled for an ultrasound scan or an x-ray, possibly both to determine the cause, and will be referred to a chronic pain team if nothing is found!

Thanks for your help!

I would recommend that you see a GI doctor about this to determine what is causing your problems.
