Nexium and Dark Stools

Hi, I just switched from Prevacid to Nexium and within two days started to have dark stools. Have had an endoscopy, CT scan of my abdomen and also a ultra sound on my stomach. Nothing has turned up to be a problem but still the dark stools. I would appreciate someone commenting if they've experienced the same with Nexium, "the little purple pill". Thanks.

I'll answer my own question just in case someone else has the same problem ... yes, Nexium can turn stools dark. I went down from 2 N to 1 N a day last night laand stools are fine again.
