Didn't go to the ER but had one miserable day, most of which was spent laying down. Such a waste of time almost daily now. I have had IV Zofran before and I do have the tablets here. Can't say they help me much at all. Problem is too, I have chronic dry mouth and throat and dissolving the tablets just makes things worse and very uncomfortable.
Not so nauseated yet today but some stomach ache and very bloated lower intestines. All I choked down for some food last night was a small chicken breast, a few diced potatoes and some canned green beans. I had a motility test done and the specialist seems to think that is the problem. Meds for this will be an issue for me, calcium channel blockers. I still think my insides are screwed up since I had that tooth infection last August and had problems with Cephalexin, then bacterial overgriwth, 2 rounds of Xifaxan, that didn't resolve it. Tried probiotics and felt worse!!
He's right if you go to the ER for nausea they won't do anything, I've done it many times. I would see your doc about zofran it like my best friend now it really helps the nausea;)
