Hi there!
CBD refers to the common bile duct. Dilation of the CBD could occur as a primary abnormality or more commonly due to a secondary cause such as distal obstruction as seen in stones, growths/ masses etc. It is primarily a surgical issue and management depends on treating the primary cause and symptomatic treatment depending on the severity of the symptoms. It would be best to discuss the situation and the appropriate management plan with your treating gastroenterologist/ hepatologist.
Hope this is helpful.
Take care!
Thanks for the response and suggestion, further be pleased to suggest a doctor/ gastrologist whom I may contact for treatment.
