Pain after upper GI (EGD)

Ive been having back pain (about 3" below my shoulder blades) ever since my procedure. I do recall gaging and dry-heaving and involuntary burping during the procedure - i was sedated but in somewhat a twilight zone - where i couldn't move, but somewhat knew.. Its day 2 and i feel like I'm so sore, my back still hurts so bad - it even hurts to drive my car. Has anyone else had this muscular problem? Is this something more serious and can it be from the procedure?
