daughters swollen stomach

my daughter 43 has been in hospital for over 2 weeks she went in because she was having stomach pain had not ate in a week and could not drink without vomiting and diherra plus she looked 10 months pregnet . they admitted her and a few days later put a tpn line in her . they said it was a bad chrons attack she was diagonised with that 2 years ago. now they say she doesnt have crohns and have done cat scan,upper gi,endoscopy,numerous blood and urine test and it is all coming back normal. they put her on psy.meds cause she is so depressed. they have her on tons of med and she has no ins. they said there sorry maybe part is mental depression i said that cant make your stomach swell. nurse and tech said they cant understand it but they are sending her home pick line is out gets sick and swollen when drinks or has yougert  cant eat real food. nurse said drive her to u of m i just dont know what to do one doc says it might b m???? colitis someone please help  ps now she onyl look 7 months pergnet.

Someone can never be cured from Chron's disease.  If she had Chron's disease, she still has it and a qualified doctor would first check to make sure her bowels are working properly (with a endoscopy and colonoscopy) before they conclude that it is psychological.  Have they looked at her liver?  Some liver problems can cause a very bloated stomach.  They are correct though that psychological problems can cause these problems.  However, they should rule out all other conditions before they conclude that it is psychological.

THEY SAID NO NOW BELIEVE OR NOT HTEY TO ME THEY THINK THIS IS PSYCOLOGY I SIAD MAYBE I SHOULD CALL THE NEWS STSTION THEN  CAUSE HOW CAN YOU GO FROM NPT LOOKING PREGNANT TO 10 MONTHS IN 15 OR SO MINUTES.THEY SAID CAUSE YOUR BOWEL  HAS A BRAIN AND IF YOU TO EMOTIAL UPSET YOUR  BRAIN SEND SIGNAL TO YOUR BOWL AND YOUR BOWL SENDS SIGNALS THAT MAKE YOUR STOMACH SWELL. I FEEL IM ON SOME DIFERENT PLAET. THIS HOSPITAL IN DETROIT AREA IS  A NUMBER ONE HOSPITAL.

She should probably have another endoscopy and colonoscopy to see how her Chron's is doing.
