Please tell me what is wrong with me, no other doctors can...

Please help. I have been having gastroenterological symptoms including, nausea, vomiting, upper abdominal pain, stomach cramps, a burning sensation in the lower part of my stomach, along with severe dizziness, fatigue, frontal headache, and general weakness; all of these symptoms at the same time. I have been to numerous doctors in my area, and all of them have come up empty handed. I have had CAT Scans, blood work, X-Rays, MRI's, Ultrasounds, and after 4 years, no one can tell me what is wrong. I always seem to get these symptoms when I eat, drink, or get up in the morning. In 2007, after 2 years of suffering with nausea, vomiting, and chest pain upon eating; doctors finally realized that I had Billiary Diskenesia, but only after my mother; a nurse of 34 years, pushed them to perform a Hida-Scan. I had it removed in December of 2007. I thought that my symptoms were better...I was wrong. After about a half of a year of relief...new symptoms...the dizziness, fatigue, and generalized weakness began. They have gotten progressively worse and there is nothing I can do for relief. I do not know if it is relevant, but I was on Ritalin for 12 years, and now have a persistent fine tremor in my right hand. Please help me, it has gotten to the point where I had to drop out of college, I am having a hard time working at my job, I can barely stand to eat, and my life has completely been turned upside down by this...disorder. I hope that someone on here can help me get my life back.

Do you have the dizziness while you are lying down or just standing up?  My son has dizziness, hand tremors, weakness, tired and was diagnosed with POTS(postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome or dysautonomia).  Many of his symptoms are also GI related.  (nausea, abdominal pain,,,,)

On the gastric emptying test, was it 2 hours or 4?  It needs to be a 4 hour test to be sure.  My son's test was fine the first 2 hours and delayed the next 2 hours.  So he was diagnosed also with gastroparesis, but they wouldn't have caught it in a 2 hour test.  The autonomic nervous system runs all involuntary functions in the body.  If it isn't working correctly, you can have a multitude of different symptoms that can change at any time and increase and decrease in severity as well.

Dinet.org is a very good website to research the symptoms, etc.....

Sara, have you been evaluated for celiac disease? Do you know if anyone in your family has that problem? Many of your symptoms suggest you may want to consider trying a gluten-free diet to see if it's of help. You wouldn't see an overnight change, but it might be worth a try.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  It sounds like you might have gastroparesis or slow emptying of the stomach.  This is diagnosed with a gastric emptying scan.  This can be treated by medicines like domperidone and reglan.  I live in the US and I am on domperidone legally through a FDA trial for gastroparesis.

I have had all the same problems as you. I had problems before I had my gallbladder out and then everything got worse. I had gred  real bad, the reflux had me up all the time .I had reaction to reglan also my arm twitched....then I was told  by my doctor about (DOMPERIDONE) this pill is banned from USA  I get them from Canada pharmacy.you need a script from your doctor for like six months worth at a time. These pills are safer and better than reglan and most doctors I've talked to them about said they wish we could have them in USA. well they saved my life, because my life wasn't worth a darn without them. I hope I have helped you ,. sandra
