Question on what my gastic emptying study means

The doctor said that I should read 100% by the end of the study and if not then that is the problem behind my nausea.  Well I found out the results were 95% at the end of the study.  Is this still in normal range or does that mean that I have a problem that needs treatment.  I am waiting on what my doctor says but she won't be back until Friday.

Yes, that probably is normal, depending on what type of gastric emptying scan you got.  If your scan was the 4 hour one, anything less that 10% after 4 hours is normal.  There is probably another cause of your nausea if you had 95% empty after 4 hours.
