Rectal/Anus Bleeding gets worse.. I guess..

Hi, I'm a 22 years old male and it has been sort of common during my life to bleed whenever I have normal bowel movements. I always feel some pain, like a sort of a slashing and ripping pain right in the tip of my anus as the faeces are passing through it. When I say "common in my life" I don't mean that it is regular or systematic but I remember that it sort of happens every once in a while. Like every 4/5 months or so; or really depending when the faeces are big and hard I guess.
From what I gathered from the online search I did yesterday it is okay if the blood is in small amounts and quantities. Well for me, whenever I have it, the first time I get the toilet paper in the anus to clean it up it even passes through to the other side of it, taking quite some time to clean it all off. But I've noticed that there's nothing in the stool or in the water. Until 2 days ago. Again, I felt a big amount of pain as the faeces were passing through the anus and when I went to clean it up after I was finished I had a lot of blood in the toilet paper (which had happened before) but then when I got up I noticed that the water was red too, maybe from the toilet paper? Maybe from the faeces? Maybe the "crack" the faeces caused - if any - was that big? What could it be?
The blood is always bright red.
I wanted to wait for the next bowel movement and see whether or not it will bleed again. But I wanted to expose this fact and ask one question:
Can the rectal bleeding be caused by the sort of "natural causes" I mentioned above? By "natural causes" I mean that the anus is smaller than what's coming out and it rips it or cracks it causing it to bleed. Or may I have some condition or problem?
One other thing to mention is that I never had abdominal pain, weight loss, sickness, or anything like that RELATED to bleeding.. I obviously had that in other occasions but never had rectal bleeding from that.
What can it be? Can it be normal? Should I see a doctor? Should I do a colonoscopy? What can/should I do?
Thanks in advance for you help!

In my opinion, unless your doctor can positively state that rectal bleeding is caused by a minor complaint such as haemorrhoids or an anal fissure, then it is advisable to ask for a colonoscopy - maybe as well as other imaging techniques.

What you posted reminds me a lot of my past. It started as you did. Sometimes when I used to go to the bathroom I would get a lot of pain on one part of my hole when passing stool. It was like a stabbing pain and the blood on the toilet paper was bright red. Turned out I had an external hemrrohid. Nothing serious. If the blood starts to get darker it might be more serious. If it starts to bleed more, say a few times a week it could be more serious and you should check with a doctor

I'm 22 and recently had that (2 weeks ago).
Since then, my stools have been thin/small, I've lost some weight, etc...
I'm getting a CT scan for Colon Cancer tomorrow.

It is rare in our age bracket, but it can happen. Colon cancer can be prevented 100% by catching it early (usually before symptoms). In my case, I'm afraid it may be a later stage.

Talk to a doctor ASAP.
