Well I appreciate you honesty. Its nice for someone to say that then to just brush me off. I just want to feel better and have a life. Lately I have scared my family and friends cause of all of this. My blood pressure is getting so low at times where I have blacked out. My red blood cells have been real low with Mpv low, folic high, saturation low. I have alot of fecal fats too, its just been very hard on me cause for me to be able to due anything then I cant consume anything or it brings back pain, cramping, everything and that is not a life.I have gone thru many surgies on my gi tract there is not much left and the motiltiy function is moderate disorder. We tried a Jtube and I bleeded and hurt so bad so I was not getting nutrition that way either.
Thank you so so much.
It's a hard question to answer. Some people seem to develop fluid in the abdomen because of damage, or surgery, or because of organ dysfunction, so there's no one answer. The fluid is typically reabsorbed. But again, it's another hard question to answer.
There's always a small amount that's present - that's normal. It allows the organs to 'slide' past each other and not stick together.
I'd love to give you a definitive answer, but this may be one of those 'have to wait it out' situations, to see what happens.
Thank you for your response. So would this fluid be from the surgery? Or can it appear after having any surgies at anytime? So what if the fluid does not reabsorbed or disappear?
The issues I have is where I live no doctors not gi doctors and pcp doctors advise me. because I have a very complicated health history, I have major motility disfunction so they just shove me off in anyway possiable.
Thank you again
Maycas, this finding would have to be put together with others to try to figure out what's going on and that's only going to be able to be done by a doc. Loculated typically means divided into small compartments. So it sounds like for whatever reason you have more than the normal fluid in the abdominal cavity and some of it is located in small 'bubble-like areas' near the superiror mesenteric area - and it's just sitting here.
I assume your doc is waiting to see if that fluid will be reabsorbed or disappear.
