want advice before dr. appointment

I made a dr. appointment for tuesday but I wanted to get an idea as to what I may be dealing with before then.  There is several things that have been bothering me and I dont know if some of them are worth mentioning, but I want it all on the table, so I apologize for the length.

A little over a year ago, I had my first son who was 5 weeks premature.  They never found out why he was premature even after testing my placenta for infection.  The only thing that went wrong during that time is that I was spiked a fever when I started pushing him out and the fever remained for about 12 hours.

After that I had started birth control per the obgyn's request.  I gained 20 lbs in under 2 months and thought it was the birth control so I have stopped taking it.

After that, I went on a diet and lost 30 lbs.  Once I stopped dieting (but still eating healthy) I started getting sick constantly.  I was getting sick every week to every other week with a bug that started out with a hard time breathing, then weakness and extreme tiredness, fever, shaking chills and then I would start to feel better with an exception of a cough and  hard time breathing for another day.  This went on for about 2 months with the cough staying the entire time, had a chest xray with everything ok on it.  Finally went on antibiotics and this disapeared.

During this time I gained 10 lbs again.

Since then (3 months later), I have become more and more fatigued everyday.  Over the past 2 weeks it has become very difficult to do regular chores because I get so tired so easily.  Sometimes it comes in severe waves and it feels like my heart is beating harder.  I have been getting headaches more frequently too.  Also, in the past month or so, I have realized that my temperature has been on the lower side.  It seems to be averaging 96.5 - 97.3.  My average temperature is normally 98 - 98.7.

Also in the past 2 weeks I have been getting a pain in my upper right side of my abdomen that goes into my back at times.  It seems to come after eating, but sometimes when I havent eaten.  Due to this, I checked the rest of my abdomen and discovered that parts of my middle abdomen hurt when I put pressure on it.  I want to say that it feels like there may be bumps or something or I may be feeling something else..I dont know.  I also discovered a small bump in my lower abdomen on the right side.

Two things that have been constant is I have had very bad gas through this entire time, and pain on my right side at certain angles during sex.  Before I got pregnant I used to get a severe pain on my right side that would last a couple hours every 6 months or so, and got a ct scan done one time because of it and they found nothing.  I think I recall them saying something about a cyst on one of my ovaries but it was not big enough to cause pain.

I want to know if there is anything that could interconect all of this.  Some of the things I have already read about is hypothyroidism for the fatigue and weight gain, and gallstones for the pain in my upper abdomen.  I have a feeling my dr. will blow off everything because of the way they do things from previous visits for both me and my husband.  Any insight to this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I also forgot to mention, within the past several weeks I also have been very bloated.  So bloated that I feel like I look like I'm pregnant (but am definatly not).  I am a little overweight but not enough for my stomach to look like this.  My bowel movements are normal, so I am fairly certain its not a bowel obstruction.  Sorry I forgot to mention it before.  Thanks for the advice!

A lof of your symptoms are consistent with dysautonomia or autonomic dysfunction.  Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a disorder under dysautonomia, but there are also other symptoms.  Abdominal pain, fatigue, not being able to regulate body temperature.  There are a lot of websites that give a long list of the symptoms, and it is hard to get this diagnosis, as many doctors are not familiar with it.

It took us 3 years to get my son diagnosed correctly with this.  His symtpoms are nausea, abdominal pain, can't regulate body temp, dizziness, weak legs, headaches, migraines.
