Pain on the upper left side of my abdomen/arround the lower rib case area

I am having a pain on the upper left side of my abdomen since last December. The pain is on and off. The pain starts if I eat a little spicy food. When the pain starts it lasts for several days. I feel gassy and sometimes when I lay in my bed my stomach make gurgling sound. I went for Ultrasound to see if I have gull bladder  kidney stone. Nothing was found. I have lost at least 10lb. Please help.
