So....how long does it take for gastritis to heal after being treated for H Pylori?

Just curious how long it took others to heal up after the H pylori is gone.

I took it for ten days. I had gas issues before and I still do, could just be genetic.  Exercising helps.  My doc said stress and anxiety will make it worse and probably why I got ulcers.  He said most people with hy pylori won't develop ulcers, but people with GI will.  Made no sense.

how long did you take the antibiotics for cause i have h pylori an i am on antibiotics now

well, egd showed no inflammation of stomach although every now and then it still feels like sandpaper in my stomach, they also sent me to have a breath test done but have not yet gotten those results back. i hope you are doing well

well, i was dx with h pylori by blood test in january as well as gastritis, i am going for an EGD in few days to determine if antibiotics worked and to check healing progression of gastritis...i will let you know then!
