abdominal pain

Hi my daughter is ten years old and has been suffering for almost a year now of abdominal pain. She forst had pin worms and she was treatd tfor that and they are now gone. Her abdominal pain is in the upper belly area and i am really concerned. She has been sick for a while has been to the emergency room a few times and all they do is say she is constipated and send her home with a laxative. They have never given her an ultrasound only an xray. I feel thier is more going on and i'm not sure what to do now. Her stomach pain is now effecting her school and her sleep at night. Another thing she has been having is nosebleeds and it started out light but now it's heavy. waht should i do in this case?

I had IBS as a teen, and it turned out to be low fiber intake, and it was easily fixed with more veggies. Potassium deficiency can make a digestive system do this, I've gone through that too. Can she drink plenty of water or diluted OJ so she gets plenty of liquids plus some potassium, if it works it's potassium/dehydration problems. Or I'd get her on fiber pills and try those as home remedies while waiting for testing/Dr. Appointments. I never needed to be put through the discomfort of a barium swallow test as as teen at all!
