severe pain

Hi i wonder if anyone can help i get this pain in my rectum going up into my abdomin, the only way to describe it is like shooting upwards from rectum to pelvic area. It gets so severe i cant move i have to stop  what im doing right away, it does not happen on a regular basis but when it does dear lord you dont want it to happen again. I would be gratefull for any comments or suggestions. Thanks in advance.

See a doctor and find out for sure what is going on.  Your health should not be a guessing game, and with anything out of the ordinary happening, it needs to be loooked into.  Don't allow fear to stop you from getting medical help, it is usually nothing serious, but could become serious if left alone.  Everyone, be pro-active with your health and educate yourselves when you receive any type of diagnosis.  This allows you to ask all the right questions when seeing your doctor.  Don't sit and worry.

hi, look it might just be colon spasms, herrmoroids, polyp, or bacterial infection, try taking over the counter pain killers for a couple of days, if you find that its getting worse then you should undergo a colonoscopy, cheers.
