Stomach pains, bloated and salivation

Hi there
I am a young woman, 21 years old, an I have problem. Two weeks ago I caught what I thought to be a common stomach flu, but now I am not so sure. The pains have not subsided. I still have to go to the bathroom at least three times a day and these last days I've experienced an increase in salivation and nausea. I am not pregnant, nor have I been exposed to anything unusual. I am sometimes, mostly morning and night, very bloated and have to release gas. I have tried a Danish yogurt product called actimel, that is rich the natural bacteria found in the stomach. And perhaps I should add, the pains are in my intestines. And sometimes the pain is so hard I start sweating and have to stretch all that I possibly can to find some release.. Can you help me?

Do see your doctor, early intervention is always best.  I think this is more than the flu, you could even have a parasite so don't wait on this.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  It is probably just the stomach flu like you said, but because this has been going on for a couple of weeks now I would recommend seeing a doctor about this.
