I have a appointment with a gastroenterologist on November 2nd, but in the meantime my symptoms are worsening. I have had horrible heartburn and suffer from sour stomach to the point of waking sick out of a deep sleep all year. That happens at least once a month. Its vomiting and diarreah, but thats not what concerns me. Unfortunately I have gotten used to that. I hear my food going through my digestive system, and about 2 months ago, began having a buzzing sensation in my belly around my belly button. The buzzing progressed to going to my sides and belly, then add to that my thighs when I walk. I am at the point now where I have to stop after I take a few steps for it to stop. The buzzing continues, but now there is tingling too. This morning there was also a feeling of muscle tightening through my middle. Its not painful and this lasts about 10 seconds before it loosens up. Then, I'm fine unless I move suddenly, or walk too fast. Just rolling over to get out of bed triggers the tightening, tingling and buzzing. I'm so confused now I don't know what to do. As I said, I have an appointment with the gastroenterologist, but do I also need to see a neurologist? Tonight I also felt it in my chest. I'm not in real pain, just extremely annoying and I want to be back to my normal self again. Do I need to do something in the meantime? Should I wait?
