Strange stomach pains

Hey guys

I was out last night with some of my friends. I was sitting outide a supermarket eating a packet of tortilla chips, when one of them went down my throat weird. I think i didnt chew one properly because it really hurt the back of my throat as it went down. Then i could feel it all the way down to my stomach. I kept imagining that i had cut the inside of my throat with the chip. I had this strange sensation that my stomach/intestines (just below my ribs) were bleeding inside. I thought i was only imagining it and that the crisp had just been a bit big for my throat and insides and that everything would be grand.

so i went home and went to bed. I've just woken up a while ago and i completely forgot about the pain for a while. But then i got up, made a cup of tea and went on the internet. The pain has sort of come back. its not as bad as it was last nite, but now it sorta moved to my lower back. it feels like a very light cramp. Do you think it's something serious? i've been able to cycle and walk with this so could it be that serious? maybe if i just sleep on it again and see if it goes away. if it doesnt i can get my dad to take a look at it (he's a doctor). I would do that right now but he's in Galway and wont be back till friday. Any idea what i should do? Anyone had similar symptoms? Thanks in advance!

The pain is still here. I've had it for four days straight. It stays in my stomach area, just below where my ribs meet. It's usually worst when my stomach is empty in the morning and then when i eat something the pain usually subsides. Honey seems to be the best for it. Every time i eat a spoonful of honey it just goes away for the rest of the day. But every day when i wake up, its back!

This is why i think it may be a stomach ulcer. When there is no food in my stomach the acid inside starts to attack the ulcer causing pain. But when i eat, the acid digests the food and leaves the ulcer alone.

Are these symptoms of an ulcer? PLEASE can someone give me an answer!?! i'm desperate here. I'm not sure if its something serious or just an ulcer! please can someone reply. thank you!

i dont think its a gall bladder attack. my discomfort came from under the rib and moved down to my lower back. maybe the pain is coming from something moving through my intetines, as the pain keeps moving further and further down. it not even a big pain. it goes away for a while if i just dont thin about it. my stomach is making a lot of rumbling noises. like the ones you make when you are hungry.
can a tortilla chip cause the inside of your throat to bleed???

The two may not be related you could have scratched your throat, and also the Pain could be Gall Bladder related, the Pain however of a Gall Bladder Attack is severe not like a cramp, it starts under the right ribs and radiates up and into the shoulder blades, seems to be triggered by eating Fatty foods, comes on about 1-2 hours after eating, get it looked at if that sounds like it, can you speak to your Dad on the Phone and get his input if the pain continues.
