Tumour- answers please

Just a quick question. please can someone give me advice.

Ok ive been told that a benign tumour can look the same as a cancer tumour my question is

Can a Benign tumour cause the same symtpoms as a cancer one,  for example could it cause rapid weight loss and bleeding???

According to the commentary from the NIH, tumors in any form can cause a variety of symptoms including weight loss.

Tumors, benign or otherwise, can look very similar. The only way to know for sure is to have them examined histologically. So a pathology report is necessary for differentiation.

Any structure that impedes normally functioning/processing of tissue can result in abnormal changes. So some women who develop fibroid tumors (benign) experience bleeding etc., while others, however, have no symptoms at all. There are no absolutes.
