Upper Left Quad pain without other symptoms?

For the past couple of weeks I have had on occasion a VERY sharp pain in my upper left stomach, under my ribcage.  It lasts only for a few seconds and feels much like a muscle spasm.  No relation to eating, no other symptoms.  Any thoughts?

could check your pancrease with a blood test.. also could try some fiber or cut sugar big time (in case of candidias)

The pain you describe is the same pain I have when I get gas assoisated with Crohns. Think it's just gas!
