I have the same thing; been happening since April 2007 ever since my appendix was removed. I have had a gb ultrasound (fine) and 2 MRI's (still waiting on results). If anything does surface, I will be sure to share.
Thank you so much. It would be appreciated. I keep reading more and more people who have this. It's awful !
Photo Girl, talk to your doc about the possibility that you may be experiencing sphincter of Oddi dysfunction. It typically shows up after a gallbladder is removed, but it may in fact be there and actually causing the 'gallbladder pain' and is only uncovered after the gallbladder is gone.
There are som antispasm meds you can try. There are also specific calcium channel blockers that can be used.
Are you following a low fat diet? It is of help to some people.
