WHAT COULD THIS BE?

I have had yellow stools for about 3 months. I also have upper right quadrant pain. Lower right back pain that feels muscular. I went to the ER for this pain and they said everything looks normal. Do they check for cancer in the ER room when they take your blood? They think it might be an ulcer. This all started when I started wearing heals. I started a new job and wore heals for a whole week. I never wear them. Could this be from maybe a back/spine issue? I've gone to a chiropractor a couple of times but have no insurance right now so cannot continue to go. I have an appointment with a gastronetologist on the 10th of January. The yellow stool concerns me though. I am taking Klonopin and Zoloft. Could these be causing the yellow stool? I have been under SEVERE stress since March. Thanks for any insight you all might have for me!

Thank you. I've had tests done and they say my liver and gall bladder are fine. Could the back/spine be causing the pain in my lower right rib area? I did not have yellow stools today or yesterday. Could being anxious cause this?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
Yellow stools can be an indicator of many illnesses. The common causes are gastro esophageal reflux disease, celiac disease, malabsorption disorders, gall bladder disorders, liver disorders. A doctor will take a complete history do a physical examination and complete a stool analysis to determine if yellow stools are a result of a digestive condition, or if bacterial, viral or parasitic infections are present. Other tests may be based on the clinical examination findings. Back pain can be due to high heels, spine problems like disc herniation, spondylosis etc.A medical examination is necessary. Do keep me posted.
Best wishes and regards!
