Stomach cramps

Hi I have been having extreamly painful cramps since I was around 14. They are not the normal have to go to bathroom cramp, the come on suddenly they start out about 10 minutes apart from each other and get closer and closer and more severe.i start to sweat,my lips go numb,my head tingles and the pain is so bad that my hearing fades almost to the point of deafness.i have fainted from this also. It feels below or sides of my belly botton. It feels like my intestines are being twisted and scraped with shards of glass.my heart starts to beat very slow and weak and alot of palpatations,but again thik its from pain. I am not lactose int.i had upper gi done,they told me I had hital hernia and gastritis. But they said it should not cause that pain. I have always been severly constipated, I only go about 2 times a month.but doc says some people are like that. Ive tried diets,fiber everything, I have to have lower gi done when I get other health taken care of. But was wondering if anyone has ever had this.i have asked people for years and they look at me crazy. Thankyou so much for your time.

If you have had this since you were a baby, I would highly recommend you get an anal-rectal manometry to test for hirschsprung's disease.

Thanyou so much for your response and your welcoming. I have always had very bad constipation since I was a baby. I have gone to docs about it but everything I have tried does not work. The drink they give you before colonoscapy to clean u out doesnt even work. Last apointment had to be postponed because of it. Any meds or drink I take or fiber just makes it cramp but nothing happens. The contipation doesnt even bother me anymore,im almost use to it.but im small so I wonder where it goes : ) and I get cramps at anytime, once a month at times, its gone a few months before without cramping, but usally if it cramps I know it will do it for the next day or two.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  How often does this happen?  What have you done to treat the constipation?
