abdominal pain

I have had exact same symptoms-left upper abdominal pain under left ribs, lasts several hours, sometimes severe.Never hurts while I am sleeping.  Recent lab work, xray, endoscopy, and ct show nothing. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Ive been in pain for several months.

not yet, since I haven't had any 'intestinal' symptoms.I thought a ct would have been one of the most indicative tests. I've been reading other blogs and I must say I am becoming discouraged. I have read that some people have had LUQ pain for years without a diagnosis. I hope this isn't the case for me.

I have this too for years like 10 years.... dr did a bunch of test, treating me for a ulcer. I find gravel (canadian drug) helps. I take it every day. its the same drug you would use for motion car sickness. I take 50mg 4 times a day. and its good. no pain. soon as I stop. PAIN...
