appendectomy pains

by dulc11, Nov 27, 2007 05:24PM
Hello,

I was sent to the ER with a ruptured appendix last tuesday and I am finally feeling much better.  I have a hard round bump at the site of the appendectomy operation point.  Is this normal, anyone know what it could be?  it doesn't hurt, it's a little sore as is everything in that area.  I was just curious if this is something I should be concerned about?

Sounds similar to what I have.  Also had a recent appendectomy, and my doc said it is scar tissue forming.  If you are truly concerned, call the doc.
