Morning diarrhea

Is it normal to wake up early in the morning and immediately need to use the bathroom for diarrhea? It has happened to me several times over the last week. Sometimes it wakes me up in the middle of the night or it just happens right when I wake up. The rest of the day I feel fine besides some nausea (no vomiting).  I have heard diarrhea can be a form of morning sickness but I am on birth control so I doubt it. I also suspect possibly Celiac but I have never had persistent diarrhea like this before.
