I cannot live like this much longer..  doctor after doctor..  exhausting.., and no solution..

Good, glad to hear your getting some testing done.  Hopefully these tests will show something but it is not guaranteed to show something and even if they don't show anything, it doesn't mean that there is nothing wrong.  Good luck.

Thanks for your replies.. Well, this past Monday. out of desperation.., went to see my family doctor with no appt..   all weekend, I had these very strong hungar pangs, even while eating/after eating..etc..  drove me crazy..  He put me on Nexium, thinking.. maybe.. its acid related.  Though the other tests showed that part is fine, I am trying this medication.   Still get teh growling/gurgling sounds..  like I am starving within..   Trying to gain, but just not happening..   I have two more tests coming up, colonosocpy and a pelvic ultrasound.  Surely, if there is something, these will tell me.  I have yellowish stools every day. and I go every day.  Oh also, finally he gave me a stool kit, so I have one more tube to fill up, then will bring it back.  Maybe that also will say what is happening with me.   The stomach is a hard thing to figure out., and harder when your a woman.. maybe i have ovary cysts that is causing all this weird stuff.. ?  Who knows..  one test after another, very tiring.. and mentally getting to me.   Thanks everyone for listening..  and i hpe u all feel better too.

I would recommend a real stool sample because that shows all different types of parasites and things like that.

The doctors figured out pretty quickly that I had an intestinal motility disorder but they didn't really do much besides laxatives to treat the problem.  Finally the 5th doctor I saw did a gastric emptying scan which showed I had severe gastroparesis (no other doctor thought of testing for this because I had atypical symptoms).

I am currently on domperidone.  In the US, it is not FDA approved.  Only certain doctors can prescribe it.  Because I'm on it, I am required by the FDA to get frequent EKG's and blood tests.  It can cause sudden cardiac arrest (rarely) which is why it isn't FDA approved in the US.  It is used to make the stomach move food through faster (it is also used to increase lactation in nursing mothers too).  From what I've learned about domperidone, it doesn't sound like it will really help your problem.

If you are stressing about this medical problem (which is normal!), then your period might have been late because of that.

Hello..  I had asked about doing a stool sample back in August, my doctor thought I looked crazy.   All we do here in Winnipeg (Canada) anyway, is those fecal tests... which I did..  but that is for blood for colon cancer.    I also back in Aug did that pylori test, we have to pay $20 here for that..   anyway, I did.. and it came back that I didn't have it.   So far, everything is coming back negative..   very discouraging..  Only test I have left is a colonoscopy on Nov 24 here..   After that, not sukre what else to do.  I am being proactive, but the doctors are not.  How did they find out you have gastro problems?  Your right Domperidone is the medication he gave me..  Does anyone else know much about that medication?  Thanks everyone for your advice..  .. Oh last month my period was 2 weeks late, but taht could be due to whatever I am going through.. or have.

Dr_BS_MD, she had an upper endoscopy which would have seen gastritis if she had it.

The medicine he gave you was probably domperidone.  I would ask to get a stool sample.  A colonoscopy might show something, but it's not guaranteed.  I doubt that a pelvic ultrasound would show anything though.

I do have stomach problems; I have gastroparesis and an intestinal motility disorder.

Though some information is given, it´s incomplete. You don´t mention if a H pylori test was done for GASTRITIS. Intestinal parasites are another cause. Stool sample is required for lab to process.

Kind of around behind my ribs and lower to my belly button. .. burning.. and irritating feeling..   I have lost weight, so need to gain.   Just had pouridge, chocolate milk, and a tea bisquit, and yet my stomach is singaling that it is hungry.    Will a colonoscopy give me answers.. or a peliv ultrasound.  So hard when its around the stomach area, can be so many things I guess..    After my endonoscopy, I was upset, so doctor came me something that started with a D.. dormn..  (its at my desk).. suppose to move stomach, so food doesn't sit long in one place.  something like that.   I do not have constipation problems, not since this all happened 3 months ago, I go everyday, and its golden yellowish stool.  so food is movign right through me. Doctors here, just don't listen.   Thanks for listening though :). Do you also have stomach problems?

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  What do you mean by your gut (where is the pain)?  Does this only happen when you eat?  Have you tried any medications for acid reflux?
