chronic lower right abdominal pain

I am 29 years old and have had an aching pain in my lower right abdomen for 6 weeks. It was originally accompanied by bowel trouble, thin stools, diareah, constipation, excessive gas that seemed to be trapped etc. I had a vaginal sonogram, colonoscopy, ct scan of the pelvis and abdomen, meckels nueclear imaging scan, stool test for parasites, blood test for gallstones, urine test for kidney stones and they have found NOTHING!!!! After the colonoscopy the bowel trouble stopped but I still have this nagging pain and I am exhausted, dizzy, and just don't feel like myself. I need help. The docotors act like I am making it up. No one wants to deal with me, they just keep passing me to other doctors. I am so frustrated. I read about Chronic Appendicitis. Could this be it? Does it really exsist? HELP

I had the exact same problem as you and I also thought chronic appendicits.  I had all the same tests as you and all was perfectly fine, there was NO Physical reason for my pain.

My Dr said I had IBS........I also had some strange bowel symptoms prior to the pain.

Mine also lasted 6-7 weeks, it wasn't painful just a discomfort that wouldn't go away.  In the beginning of April I started to feel normal again.  I do get that pain on and off once in awhile but for the most part its gone.

I did notice that one weekend I was so busy spring cleaning that I forgot all about my stomach and poof the pain was gone.  I have health anxiety so I think the more I dwelled on it the more it stayed around.  

Knowing my tests were clear, especially the CTscan with contrast, I finally believed my IBS diagnosis and now Im on the mend.
