embarassing but i overdosed on laxatives

i overdosed on epsom salt using it as a  laxative a few weeks ago, i rarely take laxitives and ive never used epsom salt as one but i was having problems with eating too much because of a birth controll and medication change at the same time so i was eating too much and took to much without thinking and now my digestive track is really messed up, it is getting a lot better but still sometimes i fart really bad and its one of those that just eek out w/o me expecting it or being able to hold it in, so i was just wondering if i should go to the doctor if they could give me anything to help, or if there are any home remidies or over the counter drugs to fix it i have been eating healthy but its still messed up, and if the only think i can do is wait for it to fix itself then how long dose it take to wait

ok thats what ive been doing i have a juicer and have been making veggie/fruit juice and eating popcorn and oatmeal but i think i still feel really dehydrated...its like randomly ill get really tired and dizzy and it was about a month ago that i overdosed but i feel fine after i drink some water, do you think since epsom salt is salt it sticks in your system kinda like table salt and sodiu makes you retain water the epsom salt makes you lose water?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!
If the symptoms are mild, I would suggest waiting for a few weeks and taking plenty of fiber rich diet such as fruits and vegetables. If the symptoms do not seem to get better over the next few weeks or are moderate-severe, you may consider an evaluation by a primary care physician or a gastroenterologist for suggestion of an appropriate management plan.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
