No other symptoms were present when I posted this question. I am feeling better (I think!). I went to a walk-in clinic, where they performed a pelvic ultrasound to check for any uterine problems, as my cramping was mostly in the lower middle of my abdomen. They checked blood and urine as well. I suspect that it might be a muscle issue, as I've had abdominal muscle pain before, more than once; I just have never felt cramping. My surgery was 23 months ago.
Thank you,
Patsy
Hi,
How are you? Aside from the cramping, what other symptoms are present? This could be due to a variety of issues such as gastorintestinal, muscle or gynecological issues like endometriosis and uterine fibroids. It could also be due to a referred pain such as kidney stones, gallbladder disease, and urinary tract infections. If you have history of surgery (removal of ovary and fallopian tube), it is best that you inform your attending physician about this also to rule out any complications. Imaging studies such as abdominal ultrasound may be indicated. Take care and do keep us posted.
